Game Design and Production Experience                                                                      

Project Pinwheel, Narrative Designer (November 2023-Present)

  • Work in the studio's writers room on a high scope, dark fantasy text-based game/visual novel, matching writing and tone to vision set by the Director.

  • Write dialogue for NPCs and Player characters, create branching narrative paths in Ren’Py based on player’s decisions. 10,000+ lines and counting of dialogue and descriptions

  • Write detailed scene descriptions down to framing of shots, character expressions, and tone of voice lines.

  • Develop lore design documents for cities and other major locations for the writing and art teams.

 

Games Writer, Choice of Games (November 2024-Present)

  • Solo designer/developer supported by publisher Choice of Games on an interactive fiction game in an occult fantasy setting, with the player taking the role of a villain/anti-hero.

 

Game Master/Designer, Danger Wizard, (June 2024 - Present)

  • GM professionally for bars, games venues, and after school programs, creating novel one-shot and mini-campaign stories for players of any experience who wish to participate.

  • Write engaging adventure modules tailored to specific kinds of player experiences. Develop lore for cities, kingdoms, and continents, with settings from DnD’s heroic fantasy, Cyberpunk’s dystopian mysteries, and Vampire’s political intrigue.

 

monkeyWizard Studios, Freelance Game Designer/Writer (February 2023-Present)

  • Freelance contract work for video and TTRPG game studios (including for Golden Lasso Games’ Starscape); projects include development, level design, and narrative design. Research and acquire clients, serving as the point of contact between them and the rest of the studio.

  • Compose 1-2 page weekly reports detailing project progress, highlighting features awaiting implementation, dialogue to be written, art to be created, etc.

  • Contribute directly to design and development of levels, core mechanics, enemies, and story for all projects.

 

Senior Design Project, Narrative Designer (September 2022- April 2023)

  • Designed story for classmate’s final projected, a role-playing exploration game with branching narrative decisions.

  • Created characters, wrote dialogue, and implemented branching dialogue and story using Twine, 1000+ lines of dialogue and descriptions. Project managed by classmates using Trello/Jira.

  • Lead generation and business development for data consulting firm, with high-tech B2B companies as clients.

  • Prospect and undertake outbound customer acquisition, with clients in high tech industries ranging from Saas, robotics, telecommunications, medical tech, including Google and Adobe.

ProPatria, Project Director (August 2020- May 2022)

  • Founded and directed a student run PAC focused on digital advertising for progressive candidates ahead of the 2020 election and the 2020 Georgia runoff elections.

  • Secured fundraising, filed FEC reports, organized and managed workflows for graphic design and software teams using Agile development methodology to create programs ensuring advertising was as effective as possible.

 

U.S. Department of State, China Desk Intern (September 2020- July 2021)

  • Monitored, assessed, and briefed on Chinese investments in sub-Saharan Africa across a variety of political and economic sectors.

  • Created 40+ comprehensive weekly summaries and analysis of China-related traditional and social media activity in sub-Saharan Africa.

  • Created a database of 250 experts in Sino-African relations and connected experts to stakeholders in the Department of State.

 

Locus Analytics and Haas Business School Joint Research Project. Research Intern (Summer 2020)

  • Managed a team of interns, researched technology and innovation at university ecosystems across the country

  • Analyzed qualitative and quantitative university-level data, company-level data, and local macroeconomic data using a combination of Excel and Stata.

  • Created a network of key nodes for innovation across 50+ universities studied, with particular focus on technologies developed by university centers, and their connection to business and VC and the processes of moving technology products to market.
